Suzanne Eckes is the Susan S. Engeleiter Professor of Education Law, Policy, and Practice at the University of Wisconsin School of Education. Much of her research focuses on how civil rights laws impact education policies in K-12 public schools. She is a co-author or co-editor of several articles and books, including Legal Rights of School Leaders, Teachers and Students (8th ed., Pearson).

Ligita Stramkale is an Assistant Professor at the University of Latvia. Since 2015, Ligita has been an expert in educational sciences at the Latvian Council of Science. Since 2010, she has been an expert at the National Centre for Education of the Republic of Latvia. Ligita got a doctoral degree in Educational Sciences (Dr.paed.) from the University of Latvia in 2004. Her research interests focus on music education, inclusion education, primary school and higher education. Ligita has more than 70 publications.

Gimbert, Ph.D., associate professor, Educational Administration, Department of Educational Studies, The Ohio State University U.S. Research-human capital policies impacting talent management in K-12 schools that influence the composition, distribution, and quality of educators in the workforce. Gimbert directs two national projects sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of English Language Acquisition.

Karen Taylor serves as Director of Education and the Institute of Learning and Teaching at the International School of Geneva and Associate Professor in Practice at Durham University’s School of Education. Prior to moving to Switzerland in 2008, Dr. Taylor taught at the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC and in the Liberal Studies Degree program at Georgetown University where she earned her PhD in history in 2000. Dr. Taylor’s research interests focus on eighteenth-century French pedagogical writings, Global Citizenship Education, Intercultural Learning, Inclusion and Plurilingual Education.
Dr. Efrat Gill
Dr. Efrat Gill is a psychologist and lecturer at the Department of Human Resource at Western Galilee College in Israel. Her interests include several fields: factors of academic excellence among students, and withdrawal behaviours in organisations and positive psychology. Dr. Gill has carried out several research projects that deal with the academic achievements of students, and particularly the factors that promote academic achievement among members of minority groups.
Dr. Lorena Perez-Penup
Lorena Perez-Penup holds a Doctoral degree in Advanced English Language Studies. Her academic journey has been enriched by prestigious awards, including the Fulbright (USA) and the Carolina Foundation (Spain) scholarships. Currently, she is engaged in a postdoctoral research stay at the University of Linz, supported by a scholarship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Dr. Perez’s scholarly pursuits are focused on elucidating academic literacy development and enhancing teaching-learning processes within higher education.

Dr. Oz Guterman is a senior lecturer at Bar Ilan University and head of the Human Resources Division at the Western Galilee Academic College. His research focuses on futurism in education, the new labor market, as well as non-verbal perception of emotions. He wrote 8 books and published dozens of articles in the world’s leading scientific journals.

Dr. Ariadne de Villa
Ariadne de Villa has a M.A. and a Ph.D. in Spanish language, culture, and gender from the University of Malaga, Spain, graduating with highest honors. Dr. De Villa has taught Spanish in the area of applied linguistics, Spanish for Healthcare and Business Professionals, Culture and Civilization of Spain, and Spanish Literature. Additionally, she also helped redesign the language curriculum at Texas Lutheran University, the Center for Language and Intercultural Communication at Rice University, North American University, and the International Language Center at la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Dr. De Villa has presented at local, national and international conferences, has published articles in international journals, in both, the Spanish and English language, and is author of her recently published book, Introdución al estudio de la lengua española. She loves teaching and motivates her students to learn about the richness of the Spanish language and the diverse sociological aspects of these cultures.

Ms. Elisha Minihan
Elisha holds degrees from National University of Ireland Galway (BA [Hons.] in Psychology), and University of Limerick (MA psychology). Elisha is currently working with children and adolescents experiencing mild-moderate mental health difficulties in primary care psychology as a psychology Assistant. Elisha has been working as a research Assistant with University College Dublin from 2019 to present (2024). She has worked on various research projects primarily surrounding occupational stress and the effects of such on mental health and wellbeing. More recently she has focused on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on essential workers and how it has impacted on their wellbeing. Elisha has numerous national and international publications pertaining to Covid-19 and mental health as well as Covid-19 and its effects on essential workers during the pandemic.

Dr. Latifah M. Alhthlol
Dr. Latifah M. Alhthlol received her undergraduate degree at King Faisal University (KFU) in 2010. She then completed her M.S. at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in inorganic chemistry in 2016. She then went on to earn her Ph.D. in medical chemistry at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia in 2023. Currently, she is assistant professor at KSAU-HS in Saudi Arabia.

Black Excellence at a Price: African American Doctoral Students Experiencing Tokenism at Predominantly White Institutions in the United States.
Dr. Deniece Dortch is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education and Administration at The George Washington University located in Washington, DC. Her research and teaching grapples with systemic oppression across multiple axes. She uses critical phenomenological approaches to understanding how African American undergraduate and graduate students experience and respond to race and racism at predominantly white institutions of higher education. Dr. Dortch studies the socialization of undergraduate and graduate students of color. She is especially interested in how psychological violence and fear is experienced, manifested and reproduced in the academy. Her most recent projects explore intra-racial relationships, racial agency and their effects on persistence in higher education. Dr. Dortch earned her Ph.D. Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an Ed.M. in Higher & Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a M.A.in Intercultural Service, Leadership & Management from the School for International Training in Vermont and a B.A. from Eastern Michigan University.

Professor Andrei Kolyshkin has PhD in differential equations and mathematical physics. He is presently the director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Riga Technical University. His research interests include mathematical modeling in fluid mechanics and eddy current nondestructive testing.
Prof. Dr. Ali Derakhshesh
Ali Derakhshesh received his Ph.D. in TEFL from Shahid Beheshti University. He is currently a university lecturer and researcher. He has made several presentations at different national and international conferences and compiled a number of books related to TEFL. He has authored several papers in internationally prestigious journals like System, Frontiers in Psychology, Asia TEFL, and CALL-EJ.
